A Hickory Native, I grew up with a love for the outdoors, sports, and creating anything and everything I could, including trouble. Through highschool I worked for a property management and landscaping company where I picked up many different skills and pieces of knowledge. Through those years I honed a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the balance required to combine the two. I have always had an entrepreneurial bent, a heart to serve, and desire see tangible results.

Hickory’s Helper was birthed out of those values and experiences in 2019 when I made the decision to put my idea and values to work. Since then we have grown to over 200 customers, have been awarded EEVF grants, and in 2022 were chosen by Hickory City to receive the Business Well Crafted Award for Youth Entrepreneur of the year. Since then I have earned a bachelors degree in business management from Appalachian State University, worked with Creating Jobs Inc in Honduras encouraging and supporting local entrepreneurs, and been honored to speak at CVCC’s entrepreneurial panel, encouraging students to put their ideas and values to work.
